This skinning knife is made from high carbon spring steel full tang design that has been hand forged. This blade has been hardend and tempered through a heat treating process. The curved "bean" shaped blade allows you to skin large game animals with ease. The blade is 4.5" and the handle is 5.5" giving it a total length of 10". The handle is made from Hickory, a hardwood that is durable and beautiful and has a "Coke Bottle" shape for the most comfortable grip. The beautiful sheath was hand crafted by our very own professional leather worker Natasha (my wife) from Lockwood Leatherworks!
